I attended an Internet Marketing seminar recently in London.

One of the speakers was Scott Paton who gave a fascinating insight into the latest trends about RSS, Blogs and Podcasting.

I have spent a lot of time recently in trying find more about podcasting. However, from listening to Scott I don't even know the half of it!

Scott has just launched an e-book based on his own research into Podcasting and covers the following subjects:

What is Podcasting?
Finding a Podcast
How to Podcast
Marketing Your Podcast

I am in the middle of reading it and would highly recommend it.

So, if you don't want to spend hours and hours researching Podcasting yourself, you can now find the information in one place by reading Scott's book.

It has been hectic here recently (hence the lack of blog entries) as we prepared to launch another job site: www.DigitalMediaJobs.com

This new site follows the launch of www.OnlineMarketingJobs.com a couple of months ago and is the third job site following the initial launch of www.JobsInSearch.com last year.

Online Marketing Show - London

I visited the Online Marketing Show in London last week and it is good to see that Online Marketing continues to go from strength to strength.

This was the first show in the UK dedicated to Online Marketing and it will be followed up in September by another show in London - AD-TECH.

I also heard an interview on the radio this morning saying that radio advertising was down by 15% in the UK. One of the reasons for the decline was, of course, the increase in advertising online!

Maybe we will see that person from the radio advertising company at AD-TECH in September so he can see just how much a serious threat the Internet is having on radio advertising revenues!

Internet Marketing Pioneer Corey Rudl Killed in Speedway Accident

One of the early pioneers of internet marketing was tragically killed yesterday (2nd June 2005) in a speedway accident.

Corey's internet marketing courses have helped both individuals and corporations achieve success online and Corey was one of the first people to introduce affiliate programmes to the internet.

Corey had achieved great personal success by his mid-thirties and also helped many hundreds of people to become successful at the same time.

Search Engine Strategies - London - June 2005

I have been along to SES in London this week.

Having attended the SES show in New York in March 2005 it was good to meet up with some of the speakers again.

There were clearly more booths at this London show as compared to London 2004 and I understand that the number of attendees was also up on last year? It all goes to show that "search" is still growing like crazy!

OnlineMarketingJobs.com Offically Launches 6th May 2005

Following a successful beta period today saw the launch of OnlineMarketingJobs.com. The site will focus on jobs and careers related to online marketing.

This new site follows on from the launch of JobsInSearch.com in October 2004.

Online Marketing is one of the fastest growing areas on the Internet today as the recent Internet Advertising Revenue Report for 2004 confirmed. Issued by the Interactive Advertising Bureau & PricewaterhouseCoopers the report showed Internet Advertising spending reached $9.262 billion in 2004, a 32.5% increase from $7.267 billion in 2003. In the UK there is also rapid growth, with online advertising at £653 million overtaking the amount spent on radio advertising for the first time.

Any feedback on the new site would be appreciated!
